When the vehicle arrived at the dormitory entrance in the southern district, Xie Yujia waved goodbye to Hao Ren and headed towards the girl's dorm without any intention of having him escort her.
Holding the CD from Xie Yujia, Hao Ren turned around and walked toward the boy's dormitory building.
Inside the dormitory building, there was a lot of noise. Hao Ren washed his face and brushed his teeth, carrying a basin back to their room where he asked Zhou Liren, who was lying on his bed playing with his phone, "Who in our place has a laptop"
"Chen Ke from the opposite dorm has one, but it can't go online. He says that internet access ports for rooms won’t be available until after the third year, which is really an outrageous rule," Zhou Liren said with dissatisfaction.
"I don't need to connect to the internet," Hao Ren walked over to knock on the door of the opposite dormitory and quickly borrowed a laptop back to his room.
"Chen Ke uses this computer for studying, there are no games installed and not many movies either." Zhou Liren, who was lying in the upper bunk bed, interjected as he saw Hao Ren fiddling with the computer.

Hao Ren turned the laptop towards himself to avoid Zhou Liren's sight and inserted Xie Yujia’s CD into it. The sound of the disc being read played out.
The movie started playing automatically.
The stage resembled tonight's setting, though in a slightly duller color scheme.
Today I watched Zhao Yanzǐ's live performance, and for this video recording of Xie Yujia's previous show, Hao Ren suddenly feels a very strong anticipation.
"Ah Ren, what are you looking at!" Zhou Liren, who was bored, quickly climbed down from the top bunk. "Even when buying movies, you don't let me watch them!"

Cáo Rónghuá, holding his thermos of hot water, paused and thought, This girl looks familiar...
"This is just too cute!" Zhou Liren shouted again.
But as he watched on, he felt something was amiss. "Hm Why does it seem like I've seen her before"
Hao Ren turned to glare at him and said, "Shush, close the door."
"Okay," Zhou Liren quickly went to shut the dorm's door.
Cáo Rónghuá's frown deepened. "This... Could it be Xie Yujia"
"Xie Yujia!" Zhou Liren suddenly had an idea, "It really is Xie Yujia!
"I told you to stop shouting," Hao Ren sighed at him helplessly.

"Holy..." Xie Yujia from junior high is absolutely killing it!" Zhao Jiayin, disregarding the sweat all over him after his workout, directly squeezed Zhou Liren out of half his seat and focused on watching the video.

"Xie Yujia must have had many boys chasing her back in junior high," Zhao Jiayin mused while watching, "If I were in the same class as her then, I would definitely go after her!"

Xie Yujia's performance in the play was elegant yet innocent, no wonder Zhao Yanzi wants to challenge her. Zhao Yanzi doesn't want to lose to current Xie Yujia, even less so to middle school's Xie Yujia.
The calm night passed by, and Hong Ren returned the DVD to Xie Yujia before class on the next day.
"How was it I actually forgot how I acted back then," asked Xie Yujia about his thoughts.
"Yujia in middle school was pretty too. If this performance were put into today's competitions, it should have won an award, right" Hong Ren smiled and replied.
"Rarely participated in the school activities back then; only had this one chance so I took it seriously. Shouldn't be as good as yesterday's 'Purple' though," Xie Yujia asked again.
"Both were great." Hong Ren sensed that Xie Yujia was also focusing on Zhao Yanzi, a worrying sign. He quickly changed the topic: "What exactly is your agreement with 'Purple's mom I thought about it all night and felt uneasy."
